over and out.

it's been coming on for awhile now.  naptime is no longer something i can count on (ever!) at our house.  laundry -- now THERE's something I can count on.  yes, i've got piles of it!  but time to blog -- not so much.

so with that, i'm closing my blog. 

now don't get me wrong.  i'll still be reading blogs.  here's a few in case you don't read them already:

something in the air.

don't you just love long weekends?  i do!  we spent weekend working in the yard, playing outside, hiking, going to church and soccer, and hanging out with friends.  it really doesn't get much better! 

here's a little something anna's been working on:

now that the weekend's over it's back to work.  spring is one of our busier times over at blue dress press.  we're filling orders for birth announcements and custom wedding invitations.  gosh, we've even started working on some new stuff for christmas!  if you're in the market we'd love for you to check out our site. :)

and with that, i'm off to pack a snack and take anna to pony class.  ah spring.  good times!

if you're like me and have oodles of photos and files on your computer that you should havebacked up but just haven't, check this out.  seriously, until now i've been relying on the old external harddrive solution.  that is, until all those big files exceeded the space on my beloved external harddrive.  now i need another one.

or so i thought.

meet mozy.  my friend michelle told me all about it.  actually, i think our conversation went like this:

me:  michelle, how do you back up all those photos you take?  i mean seriously!  you must take a gazillion being a professional photographer and all.

michelle:  haven't you heard of mozy?  gosh, sara!  you're don't tell me you've been using external harddrives!  you're sooooooooooooo living in the dark ages!

me:  mosie, huh?  cool.  i'll google it.

me:  ah.  ok.  i'll check it out.  thanks!

two weeks later... i'm finally backing up my computer and feeling very, very happy with myself!

morning friends.  i apologize for the delay in getting the photos up from our disney trip.  i know i've got some in-laws and an aunt waiting to see a few.  so, in the interest of time and space, here's a little photo collage courtesy of picasa.

noah's highlights -- buzz light-year's astro-blasters, dumbo, meeting mickey and pluto, and the giant sized lolly-pops we bought the kids on their last day

anna's highlights -- buzz light-year's astro-blasters, the carousel, the high school musical parade, and meeting minnie mouse

mike's highlights -- riding sidekick with noah on dumbo, soaring over california, seeing the aladdin show in california adventure, reliving old memories of his trip to disneyland in '86, and getting lots of sleep

sara's highlights -- the minnie breakfast at the plaza. soaring over california, big thunder mountain, 5 days with no schedule and lots of activities to choose from, and getting lots of sleep.

all in all, it was a magical vacation.  good thing i took all those photos! ;)
